Can I hang a sign above my booth?
Just as there are limitations for the structure of your booth, there are specific requirements that may or may not permit you to hang a sign above your booth. In most cases, if you have an 20x20 or larger island booth space, you are permitted to hang a sign; whereas, if you are located in an inline booth you cannot. However, there are specific details outlined in the Online Exhibitor Service Kit, that will help you to understand what category you fall under.

How do I order furniture, electrical, lead retrieval and miscellaneous services/items for my booth?
All of these questions are clearly outlined for you in your Online Exhibitor Service Kit.
[return to question list]

When can we move into our booth?
The exhibit hall is broken down into target zones, which consist of specific windows of time for check-in at the Marshaling Yard and unloading at Moscone Convention Center. The zones are derived from booth size and location and will be available in the Online Exhibitor Service Kit late March.
[return to question list]

Are Champion Exposition Services & the union the same thing?
They are not the same. Champion is PCBC’s choice as a major service contractor that provides the show and its exhibitors all necessary decorating and labor services. Champion is required to adhere to all union labor laws and hires accordingly from the appropriate local unions. Champion does not mandate the union rules and regulations rather they are inclined to enforce them as any other service contractor would be.
[return to question list]

What is the Marshaling Yard and why do I have to go there?
All “direct shipments” (meaning any materials to be used in constructing and/or promotion in your booth that are being delivered direct to the convention center rather than shipped in advance to the warehouse) must go through the Marshaling Yard. The Marshaling Yard serves as a staging area to control traffic flow into Moscone as well as the weight station for all vehicles to be weighed prior to delivery for an accurate material and handling charge.
[return to question list]

I have my own dolly/hand truck, can I use them?
The union has jurisdiction on the operation of all material handling equipment including dollies and hand trucks. Exhibitors will not be permitted to use their own dolly/hand trucks inside the convention center.
[return to question list]

Can I setup my own booth?
It depends on the size of your booth and the amount of time it will take you to setup your booth display. However, you may handle and set out the product you manufacture; yet all background materials, display boards, backdrops, stands or anything the product is displayed upon, attached to, or made a part of, must be installed by union labor if your booth install requires it. For more information, visit the Online Exhibitor Service Kit.
[return to question list]

When do I have to be set up by?
Set-up must be complete, with all crates removed by 3:00pm on theTuesday before the show opens so the aisles will be clear to lay aisle carpet. Exhibit space not claimed by 3:00pm Tuesday, may be canceled or reassigned by Show Management without refunding any of the exhibit space rental fees.

Miscellaneous Exhibitor FAQ
What is the company listing and product category and how can I make sure my company has one? The company listing is a description of the products/services your company will be showcasing at the Show and contact information from your company. This listing will be published online and the Show Guide will show only your contact information only. The listing should be specific to what you will be promoting at PCBC so the attendee can plan their visit to the show floor accordingly. The product category is a listing under all the product categories your company fits under and this will be displayed both online and in the printed Show Guide. To check to see what you have listed, or to add a new listing, login to MYPCBC Exhibitor.
[return to question list]

How many exhibitor badges can I get for my company?
There is no limit on the number of badges you request. Additionally, there are no hidden fees associated with a request of multiple badges. Every exhibitor must be badged to be allowed on the exhibit floor. All exhibitor registration must be done online in Exhibitor Registration.
[return to question list]

What is the Partner Pass Program?
Every exhibitor will have the opportunity to order Partner Passes from the website in various formats. The partner pass is an excellent marketing tool for all exhibitors to take advantage of and to use as much as possible. Send them to your sales force to forward on; include them in electronic newsletters or customer email blasts. The passes are typically available in March and there are no limitations on who you can distribute them to. Eventually, you will place your Partner Pass orders in MYPCBC Exhibitor.[return to question list]

What should I do if I have questions or concerns onsite?

PCBC Show Management can be accessed in this area or easily located by asking the receptionist in the Exhibit Office to page one of us.
