Travel
What is the address for Moscone Center?
Moscone Center
747 Howard Street
San Francisco, CA 94103
Web: http://www.moscone.com
[return to question list]
Why book my hotel room through the PCBC housing block?
Because of the sizable number of rooms we occupy, PCBC is able to negotiate more favorable hotel rates (as much as 30% cheaper) than you would find on your own. Also, use of San Francisco’s Moscone Center is contingent upon delivering minimum numbers of hotel nights. By reserving through PCBC's housing block, you help ensure that we meet these requirements and maintain use of Moscone Center as the site for our show.
[return to question list]
Why do some hotels sell out so quickly?
Generally, those closest to the Moscone Center sell out very quickly because of their proximity. Also, some properties have smaller blocks of rooms allocated to PCBC, so supply and demand means they’re gone soon. Even though some properties fill up quickly, PCBC usually has rooms available well into June at locations on Union Square or at shuttle stops. View a map of all PCBC hotels.
[return to question list]
How do I get an International Visa letter of invitation?
Send a request to showinfo@pcbc.com including the name and address of the company you are representing, names and titles of all delegates, and any other pertinent information your state department may need (passport number, date of birth, etc.). Please send requests by early May to ensure adequate processing time.

PCBC Info
Who goes to PCBC?
PCBC attendees are primarily comprised of executive/senior management level personnel from production homebuilding companies. Other groups of participants include land developers, architects, custom builders, general contractors, product manufacturers and consultants to the industry. Read more About Us.
[return to question list]
What does PCBC stand for?
The original name of the event, launched in 1959, was Pacific Coast Builders Conference. Since then, we’ve grown considerably in size and scope, serving a region much broader than the "Pacific Coast" and developing into a major tradeshow much larger than just a "Conference." Still, the acronym PCBC is known and familiar to many throughout the industry, so attempts to change the name have not been embraced. Our official name is PCBC.
